I’ve recently returned from a trip to Toulouse in Southern France. Unlike the UK there were some beautiful sunny days.
Whilst sitting in Place du Capitole I noticed this woman sitting with an ice cream. She was holding it in front of her as if contemplating the taste and enjoyment she would get from it.
Then came the enjoyment of the taste.
It’s not usually very nice watching people eat, so photography of people eating doesn’t usually give pleasant results, although at times they can be funny.
Then came the business of the lick, which is probably the best.
It is funny how people can become so absorbed in the enjoyment of the things they are consuming, that they are not aware of how they look or a lot of things going on around them, especially photographers.
When I turned a couple of minutes later it looked as though she had thoroughly enjoyed it.
